Hi, I'm David Hogge, the owner of Dog Guard of Mid-Illinois. I have been installing electronic fences for almost 30 years!

My love for dogs began in my teens when I started training bird dogs, and I have continued that passion for almost 50 years. I competed nationwide in the National Shoot to Retrieve field trials, and I was a past president of the Illinois region. I have also been married for over 30 years to my lovely wife Leslie, and we have 3 grown boys.

With my many years of dog training experience I know how important safety is for pet owners. That's why I install Dog Guard electronic fences. Dog Guard fencing is the best on the market, keeping everything from tiny chihuahuas to giant mastiffs contained and able to play safely in their yard.
